Major Cause of Death
Cancers was a major cause of death in France with 176175 registered deaths (in year 2016) i.e. 31% of total deaths. Overall Cancers, Cardiovascular diseases and Dementia were the highest types of death causes in France.
- We see the maximum number of deaths is seen in age group 70+ with 445640 deaths (year 2016).
- 48.56% kids below age 5 years die because of Neonatal disorders.
- Cancers, Road accidents and Diabetes, blood, and endocrine diseases are the major cause of death in kids aged 5 - 14 years.
- Cancers, Suicide and Cardiovascular disease are the major cause of death in people aged 14 - 49 years.

Major Risk Factors of Death
- Three Major factors of death in France are High blood pressure, Smoking and Alcohol use. Every year around 202 people die due to High blood pressure.
- Low birth weight and Child wasting are the major risk factor of kids death aging under 5 years.
- Alcohol use and Iron deficiency are the major risk factors of death of people aging between 5 to 14 years.
- Alcohol use, Smoking and High blood pressure are the death risk factors of people aging between 15 to 49 years.

Cancer Analysis
1.19% of France population was suffering from cancer i.e. 1144988 people (average of years 2011-2016). Highest number of cancer patients deaths were recorded due to Colon & rectum cancer (Count : 21809) and Breast cancer was also concerning with 13277 deaths in a year. In last few years it has been observed that, people suffering from Gallbladder & biliary tract cancer have 6% of survival chance.France was really successful in diagnosing Testicular cancer where 99% of people were cured.Highest number of cancer patients i.e. 535104 people were of age group 70+ year olds.In 2016, 175175 were suffering from Colon & rectum cancer out of which 21809 people were dead.
