About us

The Global Graph team presents facts about the world and continuously analyzes different topics to present them on theglobalgraph.com and partner websites. An online publication that shows how living conditions are changing. The aim is to give a global overview and to show changes over the very long run, so we can see where we are coming from and where we are today. We need to understand why living conditions improved so we can seek more of what works. This site is Non-Profit Organization and contributors are funded through Donations received to company.

For almost 20 years, the The Global Graph has helped millions around the world learn the essential skills they need to live and work in the 21st century. From Microsoft Office and email, to reading, math, and more—theglobalgraph.org offers over 200 topics, including over 7,000 lessons, over 1,000 videos, and over 50 interactive and games, completely free.

We cover a wide range of topics across many academic disciplines: Trends in health, food provision, the growth and distribution of incomes, violence, rights, wars, culture, energy use, education, and environmental changes are empirically analyzed and visualized in this web publication. For each topic, the quality of the data is discussed and, by pointing the visitor to the sources, this website is also a database of databases. Covering these aspects in one resource makes it possible to understand how the observed long-run trends are interlinked.

We source all the data us use at our tracker from official, high-quality sources including the UN, World Bank, World Health Organization, Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, WHO JMP, UNESCO, UN Food and Agriculture Organization, amongst others. It should update all of our metrics from these sources in real-time;As soon as the latest data is available for an indicator, it will automatically update our interface (data releases are annually). We therefore hope to always have the most up-to-date resource available to track our progress through to 2030.
