HIV/AIDS was a major cause of death in Equatorial Guinea with 1371 registered deaths (in year 2016) i.e. 25% of total deaths. Overall HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Cardiovascular diseases were the highest types of death causes in Equatorial Guinea.
