0.27% of Djibouti population was suffering from cancer i.e. 1441 people (average of years 2011-2016). Highest number of cancer patients deaths were recorded due to Prostate cancer (Count : 76) and Cervical cancer was also concerning with 73 deaths in a year. In last few years it has been observed that, people suffering from Non-melanoma skin cancer have 0% of survival chance.Djibouti was really successful in diagnosing Kidney cancer where 89% of people were cured.Highest number of cancer patients i.e. 629 people were of age group 50-69 year olds.In 2016, 243 were suffering from Prostate cancer out of which 76 people were dead.
